Five ways to tell if your streamed music service is radio …or why Google’s All Access ISN’T “Radio without rules”! | Radio Advertising Bureau Blog

Now I’m sure this is all just a simple misunderstanding, so to help tech companies developing similar services in the future, here’s my simple five point checklist to see if you qualify to use the term ‘radio’:

  • Is your service a real-time linear stream of content edited by professionals?
  • Do you serve content other than just music (e.g. travel, traffic, weather)?
  • Are the different content elements linked by a human presenter?
  • Do your listeners ever get to hear from other listeners within the content stream?
  • Can the listener access all of this content with a single flick of a switch?

Durante el 2012 ¿Cuál fué el medio Chileno que generó mayor 'engagement' en Twitter?

“Es muy interesante constatar que los 2 primeros medios son originalmente Radios y no vienen de la prensa ni la televisión”, afirman los autores del estudio.

En mi opinión, la velocidad de reacción que caracteriza a las radios es clave al momento de lograr buenos resultados al publicar contenidos en Twitter.

Cuando estuve a cargo de Cooperativa.cl, pude ver como el primer medio que publica un dato en Twitter logra mayor repercusión que los siguientes.

Y las claro, las radios llevan décadas trabajando en “real time”.
